Our People

Katie Breest, Founder

Katie has shaped Agency PR into a strategic powerhouse of brand storytelling. A dot connector and media matchmaker, Katie lives to uncover an untold angle that gets to the heart of who her clients are. Her ability to anticipate trends and cut to what is important has sparked some of the most effective PR ideas and campaigns in design, development and destinations.

Katie has spoken on the cross section of design and public relations at the School of Architecture + Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and written on the profession for Architizer.

Prior to launching Agency PR in 2017, Katie was the Director of Public Relations in Gensler’s New York office. A Colorado native, Katie set out to bring big-city experience back to her clients. She resides above Denver with her husband, daughter and Siberian husky.

Erica Langendorff, Account Director

After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Erica moved back to her hometown, New York, to join Rubenstein Associates, one of the oldest and leading public relations firms in Manhattan. During her time, she worked on accounts ranging from real estate, architecture, healthcare, arts and culture and education, and helped execute iconic events including the TIME 100 gala, TriBeCa Film Festival and the New Year’s Eve ball drop. 

Finding her passion for all things real estate and design, Erica went on to work in roles at Gensler, the largest design firm in the world, as well as Warburg Realty in Manhattan.

When not in the office or browsing social media, you can find her exploring the city, mapping out new countries to travel, or visiting her alma mater for a hike through Chautauqua Park. 

Kate Wilkins, Account Executive

A driven and creative thinker with a mind for luxury marketing, Kate is an expert at crafting compelling narratives and implementing high-impact, strategic marketing initiatives. Leveraging an innovative analytical yet data-driven approach, Kate has a proven track record of furthering brand awareness, fostering collaboration, and maintaining an unrivaled level of service.

Prior to joining Agency PR, Kate served as the Marketing Director for The Behr Team at LIV Sotheby’s, recognized as the #1 real estate team in Colorado and among the elite top 10 teams nationwide. Working in luxury real estate, Kate honed her passion for writing and storytelling by creating unique narratives for some of the most notable homes in Colorado, procuring prominent placements and press coverage in numerous global publications. 

Kate was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and has lived in Aspen and Denver. When she’s not in the office you can find her at Lake Travis or hitting a pilates class.

VIRGINIA PETTIT SERTICH, CONTENT MARKETING Consultant

A frequent collaborator of Agency PR’s, Virginia is trained as an architect and experienced as a writer, merging her passion for design with her 20 years of marketing leadership to develop strategic content that helps architects and designers get the attention they deserve. She works directly with clients to understand their goals and motivations, craft positioning strategies, and tell their stories in the form of blog posts, media articles, project case studies, leader bios and more. Prior to launching her own consultancy in 2017, Virginia led an award-winning content marketing team at a leading global design firm and served as vice president of marketing for an NFL team.

Virginia earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture at the University of Virginia and an MBA at George Washington University, and resides in the “little city” of Falls Church, Virginia, with her husband, two daughters and a cat.
